As a registered HRD Corp training provider (668784-M) and HRD Corp Accredited Trainers, Asia Bigwave offers HRD Corp claimable training (formerly known as HRDF claimable training) under the SBL-Khas scheme. What is the HRD Corp SBL-Khas Scheme?

Effective from 1 April 2021, the HRD Corp SBL-Khas scheme enables registered employers to directly claim training costs. This initiative helps businesses improve workforce productivity, competitiveness, and revenue through training funding.

Employer Registration with HRD Corp

Who Needs to Register:

  • Mandatory Registration: Employers with 10 or more employees contributing to EPF and SOCSO must register with HRD Corp. The monthly levy is 1% of wages.
  • Optional Registration: Employers with 5–9 employees have the option to register, with a 0.5% levy.

How to Register:

  • Complete Form 1and submit the required documents.
  • HRD Corp will review your application within 2 days. A confirmation email will be sent to your company.

Once the training is completed, employers must submit their SBL-Khas claims to HRD Corp, following the claim submission process outlined in the SBL-Khas Claim Guidelines.

 

Recent Updates on the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act 2001

As part of the 11th Malaysia Plan, HRD Corp expanded its coverage in March 2021. Employers in newly included sectors were granted a three-month levy exemption (1 March–31 May 2021). Make sure your company is compliant and registered to access training grants.
